Happy Friday, everyone!! As always I'm linking up with Andrea, Erika, and Narci for some Friday Favorites!! Today I thought it would be fun to share my favorite items for Spring!
ONE
It's usually about this time every year that I'm ready to ditch the dark nail polish colors and start busting out some Easter shades! My current favorite is Lilacism, by Essie. I'm pretty much an Essie or OPI girl, and this shade of purple is my new favorite Spring color! Here it is on my toes...
I never thought I'd see the day that I posted a photo of my toes for the world to see, but that's how much I love this polish! |
TWO
I really love to have a candle burning in my house at all times. While I love the springtime, I'm usually not a "Spring scent" type of girl. If I'm picking out a candle scent, I almost always go for the vanilla/apple/cinnamon/Fall type of smells because the floral smells don't really do it for me. Plus they sometimes make me sneeze! Then I found the Capri Blue candles at Anthropologie in the Volcano scent. I can't even really describe the scent, but just know it's delicious! Every time I burn it, if someone comes over they comment on how good it smells!! It's kind of fruity but not overpowering...it's perfect! If I'm not burning my seasonal candles in the Fall, then it's the Volcano candle all the way!
THREE
Speaking of Anthropologie...I was looking at their pajamas, and fell in love with this pair for Spring. Then I saw the price tag, and unless it becomes socially acceptable to wear my pajamas in public, there is just no way I could spring (see what I did there?!) for pajamas that expensive! Fortunately, I saw this much more reasonable pair that I think are just as adorable for spring jammies!
FOUR
Boden is one of my favorite clothing lines for the littles. The price tag is a little high, but the quality of the clothes is excellent, and they hold up really well through multiple washes! Baby Boden has so many cute things out for Spring that I am having to contain myself!! Doesn't Hadley need five different dresses with farm animals on them?!?!

I have a confession...when I buy seasonal decor, I usually make my wishlist of things I want from Pottery Barn, then I hightail it over to Pier 1 or Hobby Lobby as fast as I can to see if they have something similar for half the cost!!! Hehehe...don't tell! This year I got really excited about Pier 1's Easter throw pillows! They are such a fun way to quickly and easily decorate for each holiday, and since you're only going to have them out for a short time, I refuse to pay full price for them! Pier 1 has so many cute Easter pillows, and as a bonus...a lot of them are on sale!!
And those are my Friday Favorites, Spring edition! We are celebrating St. Patrick's Day early this weekend, and then Johnathon is off to Honolulu next week, so Hadley and I are soaking up our last couple of days with him! Hope y'all have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteI've heard about the volcano candle from so many blogs. Guess it's time I need to check it out. Love all the boden outfits! I like to check out Hobby Lobby, Target, and Kirkland's for cheaper seasonal decor. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThat polish is pretty! Love the color. I am ready for all of the Spring colors. And $125 for pajamas? No way!! That's insane.
