Friday Favorites

How is it that four day weeks always manage to seem longer than regular weeks?! This week has gone on forever, but maybe that's because we have been battling all four of Hadley's upper teeth coming in at the exact same time. The struggle is real. BUT...today is Friday, which means it's the weekend, AND it's time to link up with Andrea, Erika, and Narci for some Friday Favorites!

ONE

Elementary school me is beyond herself with excitement for this!! Did you know that next week is the premiere of Fuller House?! Everybody with me..."Cut. It. Out." I know. My excitement is palpable. My sister and I LOVED Full House when it was on in the 90's and the fact that the whole gang is back (minus the Olsen Twins who were too cool for school) makes it even better.  The only way the first episode could let me down is if Uncle Jessie doesn't serenade Aunt Becky with the timeless classic "Forever." Have mercy!

TWO
Rose Print A-line Midi Skirt

Maybe because I don't have a whole lot of excuses to dress up that often out here, but I'm really getting excited to pick out my Easter outfit. Growing up we always got a pretty, new outfit to wear to church Easter Sunday, and I guess the tradition has stuck with me. I'm really wanting a "garden party," patterned type skirt in my life and I feel like this one from Chicwish really fits what I'm going for! I'm also loving this one that's also from Chicwish:

Marine Blue Striped Midi Skirt

I'm picturing it with my fun leopard heels...decisions, decisions...

THREE

While we are on the subject of fashion...my friend Shelbi wore these amazing shoes to a party last weekend, and I pretty much couldn't stop obsessing over these bad boys:

Sadly, she bought them at a boutique in Alabama so I couldn't just go buy them for myself. LUCKILY, (your gonna see what I did there in a minute) Nordstroms didn't let me down, and they had the exact same shoe on their website! They are LUCKY brand (see what I did?!) Lantau Slingback Bootie, or as I like to call them a "Mutie" (bootie/mule...you get the idea). They are seriously adorable, and I think we should all run out and get a pair. Ready, go!

FOUR

Sadly, Hadley has decided to take out her teething aggression on her hairbows this week. She has always been great about me putting even the biggest bows in her hair and not touching them, but this week every bow I put on her got pulled off and chewed on. In honor of happier bow times, I thought I would share where I get Hadley's favorite bows. They are from a store called Jameson Monroe that I found on Etsy and I absolutely love their bows. My favorite is the XL Chiffon seen here:
While the XL Chiffon is definitely the store's most popular, there are so many other hair pretties to choose from, and Chelsea (the store owner) even does custom orders like Hadley's birthday bow:

If your looking for fun, statement bows for your little girl, check out Jameson Monroe!

FIVE

As I mentioned above, this week was a rough one for Hadley Kate. She has all four top teeth coming in, and she just hasn't been herself. As bad as I feel for her, teething is also exhausting for parents too! Johnathon and I were saying bedtime prayers with Hadley two nights ago, and we were all pretty tired and I could tell Hadley was ready to go to bed (she kept crawling away from us and trying to get comfy). We kind of zoomed through the prayers and I said "Amen!" and as I went to pick her up she smiled at me and said "AMEN!" Really it was more of an "Ah-me" but it was close enough! Johnathon and I were so caught off guard and shocked. Hadley says a few words like "mama" "dada" and "doggie", but really just babbles most of the time, so the fact that she said "Amen!" really surprised us! She repeated it after me several times last night as well so I know it wasn't just a fluke. It's been a long and challenging week in the parenting department, and it was such a lovely reminder that what we do as parents is so, so important, and that our children really take in everything we say to heart. Even though I know she doesn't know what that little word means, hearing it on her lips was one of the greatest sounds ever!!

Those are my Friday Favorites. Hope everyone has a relaxing, fun weekend ahead! TGIF!
